Veterans Day Concert at USS ALABAMA

Veterans Day at Battleship Memorial Park ends with an evening concert by the Mobile Pops, playing patriotic selections in the Aircraft Pavilion surrounded by historic military planes. Earlier in the afternoon, the park holds its Veterans Day Celebration and Parade of Flags from 3 to 4 p.m., with essay contest presentations and patriotic music.

The concert runs 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11. It is a good way to honor veterans in your family, and the afternoon program makes a full day of it. Check the park’s events page for admission and seating details closer to the date, and bring a jacket since evenings by the bay can be cool.
