Stingray Feeding at the Alabama Aquarium

The Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab focuses on the creatures of Mobile Bay and the Gulf, and the daily stingray feeding is the best time to visit. Staff feed the rays at the large outdoor touch tank and talk about them while kids get an up-close look.

Feedings are every day at 2 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, there are also indoor tank feedings at 11 a.m. The aquarium is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last tickets sold at 4 p.m., and closes on major holidays. Admission is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $6 for ages 5 to 18 and students, and free under 5. The Sea Lab also runs seasonal boat and salt marsh excursions for an added fee.
