Revolutionary War Battle at the Village Reenactment

In January 1781, British and Spanish forces clashed at a settlement on Mobile Bay’s Eastern Shore in what became known as the Battle at the Village. Historic Blakeley State Park in Spanish Fort brings that history back with a weekend of Revolutionary War reenactors, camps and demonstrations.

The reenactment is set for January 9 and 10, 2027, with booking through the park’s events page. Schedules and prices had not been posted at last check. Regular park admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 6 to 12, and free for children under 6, veterans and active duty. Dress warmly, wear boots for the trails, and check the park’s page for times before you go.
