Prattville Christmas Parade

Prattville’s Christmas parade is a Friday night affair. Floats, bands and local groups step off at 7 p.m. from the Autauga County Courthouse, head up Main Street, turn right on Northington and left on Doster, and finish at Stanley Jensen Stadium. The evening before, the city lights its big downtown tree, which kicks off a month of holiday events.

Main Street near the courthouse fills up first, so arrive by 6:15 p.m. if you want a curbside spot. Bring chairs and blankets, and plan for closed streets along the route. Afterward, the ice rink and carousel at Spillway Park are a short walk away.
