Prattville Christmas Ice Skating Rink

Each December the City of Prattville sets up an ice skating rink at Spillway Park, by Heritage Park and the Musgrove fountain on Court Street, and both the skating and the carousel rides are free. It makes an easy holiday outing from Montgomery as well as Prattville.

The rink is open 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with extended hours until 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Gloves and warm socks help. Expect a wait on weekend evenings, and check the city’s page for weather closures.
