Mobile’s Greek Fest has been running since 1962, and parish volunteers still cook most of the menu. Along with plates of Greek food and pastries, the festival offers sanctuary tours, live Greek music, dance demonstrations and a market for shopping.

The festival runs Thursday through Saturday, October 15 to 17, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with curbside takeaway from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free, with lots at the Alabama School of Math and Science, Central Presbyterian Church, Government and Ann streets, and All Saints Episcopal Church. The festival is cashless, so bring a debit or credit card.
