Mobile Ballet: The Nutcracker

Mobile Ballet’s The Nutcracker is a December tradition for many Mobile families, with the company’s dancers and local students on the Saenger Theatre stage. On Sunday, the Nutcracker Holiday Brunch at the Battle House Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom adds character meet-and-greets before the matinee.

Performances are Saturday, December 19, at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 20, at 2 p.m. Tickets run $25 to $69, with discounts for children, students, seniors and military, and go on sale October 15. Tickets are sold through Mobile Ballet, not the Saenger box office (251-342-2241). If you want an earlier taste, the company performs Dracula at the Saenger on October 24.
