Fairhope’s city-run farmers market sets up on Thursday afternoons behind the Fairhope Public Library, at the corner of Bancroft Street and Magnolia Avenue. Vendors bring fresh produce, baked goods, plants, local honey and handmade items, and food trucks round it out.

The fall market runs Thursdays in October, with the city listing hours of 2 to 6 p.m. It is an easy after-school stop, and downtown shops and restaurants are steps away. Bring a reusable bag and some small bills, and check the city’s farmers market page before you go, since the fall schedule can change with the weather.
