Pepper Place Saturday Market

Every Saturday morning the lots and streets around Pepper Place fill with Alabama farmers, bakers and makers. The market only allows products grown, raised or made in Alabama, so fall here means apples, sweet potatoes, greens, mushrooms, pecans and pastured meats, plus coffee and breakfast from food vendors to eat as you walk.

Hours are 7 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, and the 2026 season runs through December 12. Arrive early for the best produce and easier parking, bring a sturdy bag or a small cart, and plan on a walk from wherever you park. The midweek mini market is done for the year and returns in 2027.
