The Riverwalk Wine Festival is one of downtown Montgomery’s favorite fall evenings. Under the historic Union Station Train Shed by the river, guests sample wines from more than 100 wineries, with live music from BK Jackson, a sip-and-paint station and food trucks.

The festival is 21 and up and runs 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $40. Eat something beforehand or plan on the food trucks, and arrange a ride home. Parking is available in the decks near the Riverfront and along Water Street. Buying tickets ahead is the safe bet.
