Free Thursdays at the Mobile Museum of Art

The Mobile Museum of Art in Langan Park has offered free Thursday admission to Mobile County residents for more than a decade. Thursday is a good day to wander the permanent collection galleries and catch whatever rotating exhibition is on view.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., so Thursday gives you the full day. Ask at the front desk what counts as proof of residency. Some special exhibitions carry an extra charge. Regular admission for everyone else is $12 for adults, with discounts for seniors, students and military, and free for children under 6. Pair a visit with a walk around the lake in Langan Park.
