Old Cloverdale was laid out in the early 1900s as a garden suburb, and its curving streets, big oaks and craftsman and revival homes still make it one of Montgomery’s favorite places to walk. It became an official historic district in 1996. The Capri Theatre, a longtime independent movie house, anchors a small commercial strip around Five Points, where you will find neighborhood restaurants and wine and cocktail bars that draw people from across the city.
