Eastchase grew up around The Shoppes at EastChase, an open-air lifestyle center that opened in 2002 at I-85 and Taylor Road on the east edge of Montgomery. The walkable main street of shops has expanded into a broader district of offices, apartments, hotels and restaurants. It is an easy stop on the drive between Montgomery and Auburn, and a good place to shop or grab dinner before heading downtown.
